The solution is to use most if not all carbon resources to build solar wind and wave energy sources that can be used to make more solar wind and wave energy sources, and with the resulting exponential energy supply recapture carbon, restore the oceans and replant the forests, irrigate deserts and clean up the damage of the 20th century.

The pretence of shell is preposterous. They go around earth scanning the ground and drilling holes. They pull out something very usefull and now they pretend to be the freaking stewards of humanity?
