A Problem We Can Fix

Our carbon budget is running out much quicker than espected, thanks to the enduring reigh of Keynesia economic thinking, a type of reasoning about scracity that does not take into acount the limited nature of resources. Insanity. But there is a way to adress the threat. It lies in the below quote.

“Making matters more challenging, the power sector has already locked in 80 percent of its 2020 targets, based on plants that are already in existence or currently under construction.”

Screw the power sector. Let them drop dead with thier plans (sadly one has to add ‘figuratively’ these days for saying ‘drop dead’, except if you are right wing (corrupt), then it’s ok). What is more important, to satisfy the desires of a few in charge of these projects? “Locked in” by what? I think we should think instead of the billions of people that will be affected by these activities. Doing things the rigt, clean way will creat thousands more jobs and be much healtier for society. We need to point the carbon proponents out in our society for being brutes without a conscience.
