Zombie Journalism

Journalism is meant to make us informed citizen, not part of an indifferent ignorant mob..which is what fossil fuel/banking interests want us to be.

Journalism is dead, our media are full with marketing messages and political propaganda. The shared news content is astounding, so actually billions around the world spend time reading about Kayne West even though they will never ever see them in person or even listen to his music. On top of this, some journalists seem oblivious of their role, or oblivious of the option of serious consequences of their actions.

The above interview with McCafee is off the wall. McCafee is trying to make it clear that when we allow an build in way to crack an iPhone to exist, then all countries everywhere will learn to use it and no data on iPhones will be safe. This means anybodies life can be trown in disarray at the flick of a switch, that personal lives can be messed with let alone credit card details stolen etc. The NSA is tapping all kinds of communications already, as are the Chinese and English, and we don’t more access if we don’t want to become victim of the smartest power that wants to dominate.

The A6 chip has an ID even Apple doesn’t know

McCafee thinks this is an important message so he claimed in the media he could bypass iPhone encryption. This was a lie, untrue, even though it may be possible to do so. The ‘journalist’ interviews him but misses the point several times, comes back to the lying as if that is the most horrible crime ever commited and how could you. The interviewer also talks about McCafee losing trust, but this is not about opinions, in which case one needs trust, it is about reality, and claims about reality can be tested and verified.

 John McCafee is no pussy

At some point McCafee explains that you can reduce the difficulty of cracking the encryption by learning the chip ID, but to know that you need to open the chip up, and this is very delicate work as chips these days are tiny and the wires and silicon inside is fragile. So an amateur would destroy the chip and the phone instead of getting any further in decrypting it. After McCafee says “These are two steps and that’s where I’ll stop” the interviewer asks “Ok, and what do you do then” or somehting along those lines. Retarded. Then the interviewer asks why if McCafee was protecting the knowledge of this method did he just share it. McCafee answers that he expected this to be off the record. The interviewer then says “I did not promise that” and McCafee wises up and ends the conversation.

Many intelligence agencies have created problems in the past, to make themselves necessary, for example Shin Bet admitted to promoting palestinian resistance.

Who needs an FBI if you have journalists like this, totally dishonest, void of any ambition to build trust even though requiring the time of the individual interviewed. It is a form of abuse, vile. How do you like someone to occupy your time and then never once care about your integrity or ambitions? This is like someone in the street asking for your walled and drawing a pink elephant on it. It is vacuous. And the idiot has a nerver to publish it coming back to the fact that McCafee lied.

Public private key systems use encryption that was never proven, but simply endorsed by the US

Privacy is imporant for industry. Maybe our currenty encryption is already compromized. The most common encryption standards where never proven to be water tight, they are just what the US tells companies is ok. The question is whether we are even considering facts of importance if we try to decide for Apple. Now with zombie journalism, where the journalist seems to be brain dead at least, we have another layer of uselessness added into the media mix. Let us know if you spot more examples.
