Al Jazeera has a documentary that shows how the Middle East oil was confiscated early on, and how the flow of it had to be secured time and time again in a fight against sovereign ownership of the oil, to ensure a steady flow.
We have always maintained that the delivery of nuclear weapons to Israel formed the answer to the Opec oil embargo’s of the 70’s. The documentary maintains it’s the division and non cooperation between the states. Fact is about the same time Nixon dropped the gold standard, stopping the hemoraging of gold to the Middle East and removing the cap on credit, as long as oil was available (creating the carbon credit system).
Saudi comes out as a willing seller of it’s oil, and given the wide use of military might to enforce oil security it seems a small step to conjecture that 911 was the gift of Iraqi oil to the US by Saudi Arabia, considering most terrorists where Saudi. Also considering that Cheney, Rice and Bush Jr where all ex oil executives.
Another observation is that the Emperor of Iran and Hugo Chavez, both threatening oil flow to the US, both died of cancer shortly after that became clear.
